Play our award-winning escape rooms at our new location in De Vasim at the NYMA in Nijmegen. Our new escape experience in Gelderland consits of 3 escape rooms: De Ramkraak, The Show and De Bezetting.
Our new location in De Vasim is the perfect place for an awesome escape experience. With our ROX Café as the beating heart, we combine coziness with extraordinary stories. Because our escape rooms are different from what you’re used to. So, if you’re looking for an escape room in the Gelderland area to have a fun day or evening with friends, family, or colleagues, ROX is the place to be.
At ROX Escape in Gelderland, we have three escape rooms: De Ramkraak, The Show, and De Bezetting.
De Ramkraak is a break-in room and was ranked as the 24th best escape room in the world by TERPECA. While the police are on your tail, you must crack the safes.
The Show is our newest escape room, where you become the star of a TV show. Don’t expect a standard escape room in The Show. So, if you want to experience something truly different, The Show is the room to choose.
And finally: De Bezetting. An escape room based on a true World War II story. This room was created in collaboration with Radboud University. A gem for Nijmegen and Gelderland, if we may say so ourselves.
Each room has its own story, but throughout the rooms runs a common thread: the story of ROX. We don’t want to reveal too much about it because you really have to experience it for yourself. But realize that each room is a mission for a greater whole. You can read more about it here.
If the number of people in your group changes, but still remains within the allowed number of participants, you do not need to inform us in advance.
For company outings, you can also come to us. We can accommodate up to 200 people. In that case, we offer other activities besides our escape rooms. For all the possibilities look here.
We have 2 options for making a reservation with a group.
If you only want to play our Escape Rooms, you can book the rooms individually and pay directly through the pages of the respective Escape Rooms.
For companies and groups larger than 8 people, it’s best to choose an activity form this page and fill out the quote form. We will then contact you as soon as possible to finalize your reservation and provide you with further information.

For the serious part, we offer a meeting room and you can also attend a workshop or training with us.
Afterward or beforehand, you can play one of our Escape Rooms. An ideal combination of effort and relaxation.
Our Escape Rooms all last 60 minutes. This includes a short introduction, and you are also more than welcome to relax in our café before and after the game to chat and have a drink. In total, you can expect your visit to take around 90-120 minutes.
If you’re coming with a larger group and playing multiple Escape Rooms, the timing will be slightly different. We will inform you separately via email.
No, this Escape Room was previously known as ‘Universiteit in verzet’. This is not ‘De Drukkerij’. This exciting story is based on true events during World War II and was created with the cooperation of the History Department of Radboud University.
Our Escape Rooms are suitable for anyone 16 years or older. Additionally, De Bezetting and The Show can also be played with younger participants under supervision. We do not offer experiences exclusively for children or children’s parties.
De Ramkraak: 16+ (can be played both with supervision or alone).
De Bezetting: 16+ can play alone, 14+ can play under the supervision of at least 2 adults.
The Show: 16+ can play alone, 12+ can play under the supervision of at least 2 adults.
Currently, almost all of our Escape Rooms and other games can be played in Dutch and English. Always mention when making your reservation if you prefer to play in English. Below is an overview of our options.
